In case you haven't noticed, the mansions, the Ferrari's, even the travel that you read about in the sales letters, is NOT what it's all about.

I'm NOT gonna tell you to "buy something today so you can be cool like me" – that's not how it works.

Some of these factors are obvious, others maybe less so, either way, this is it, the real things it takes to achieve a freedom giving, passive income generating online business.

No fluffing around, let's do this:

Here goes...

Number 1: A Product

Now before you say DUH and switch your mind off, listen up!

I don't just mean a product like an ebook to sell, a membership site, or a physical good. By a product I mean anything that contributes value to another person's life that results in an exchange of money from that person to you.

I'm sure you've heard of great bloggers making 6 figure yearly incomes but they don't have a product do they? Not in the traditional sense, but their BLOG is their product. It provides value to it's readers and as a result, they click ads on the blog, buy products the owner recommends and so forth.

I'm sure you've heard of Joe Article Marketer making 5 figures per month just by submitting articles, but he doesn't have a product, does he? Again not in the traditional sense but indeed, his ARTICLES are his product. They provide information value to people and resultantly, money is exchanged for the purchase of products that Joe recommends.

I'm sure you've heard of PPC marketers making 5 figures per month just by running ads. Yep you guessed it, their AD is their product. The ad puts consumers in touch with relevant products and hence provides that person value and in exchange, the PPC affiliate marketer gets paid.

I hope you see what I mean. So step 1 to creating a lifestyle enhancing online business is having a "product".

Number 2: An Automated Sales Process

What I mean by an Automated Sales System is a process by which you will generate visitors, convert the visitors to prospects, the prospects to buyers, and the buyers to repeat buyers in a way such that the results (cash) it produces are...

NOT RELATIVE TO THE AMOUNT OF TIME YOU SPEND ON IT.

If you didn't get that completely, read it again until you do.

You need a sales system who's results don't rely on you being there to generate them.

For example, a good PPC marketer doesn't have to be at his computer all day for his ads to get clicks and sales. Sure he still has work to do optimizing his campaigns, testing different affiliate programs and so forth, but if he spends a week and does no work on it, he won't lose a week's worth of income.

See what I mean?

It's no fluke that I've been on 9 vacations in 12 months and still have a business that's GROWING each month. My business is setup in a way where my time spent working isn't relative to the money I make.

I could work 0 hours or 40 hours next week – income would be the same. Of course if I didn't work for 2 months, problems would start to occur but hey, I'm still working on it and perhaps some day I can get to that point :)

So after a product, you need an automated sales process. Automatic traffic, automatic value delivery, automatic money collection.

Keep in mind that these are things that we WORK TOWARDS making automatic, but they aren't just going to pop up and be automatic immediately, like some sales letters would have you believe.

Number 3: HELP!

Whether it's the help of other humans, or softwares, it's rare that you can do all this on your own. You need to outsource (using humans AND softwares) in order to further “automate” the processes of your business.

To have a freedom giving business, you need to enlist the assistance of other people who can help you towards achieving your goals.

Now I know not everyone is ready to start outsourcing in their business yet, I'm just saying it should be something you're moving towards. Once you've got the system down pat from your own work, you need to start handing off tasks to other people so you can (as Tim Ferris would put it) “remove yourself” from the business process as much as possible.

Remember you don't want to be depended on if it's freedom you seek. Oh and remember, by freedom, I mean the ability to CHOOSE how much time you want to spend on the business. Maybe you LOVE your business and want to spend 60 hours a week on it – maybe you love it but love other things more, so you only want to spend 5 hours per week on it.

It's the freedom to be able to make that decision that we're seeking.

So 1600 visits per day, you could divide between 10 sites. So you need 10 niche sites getting 160 visits per day.

How hard is it to make a site that gets 160 visitors a day?
